Port of Bristol Shanty Crew are one of the newest but fastest‑rising shanty crews in the UK, formed in February 2022 and already well‑known across the South West for their humour, big choruses, and exceptional charity fundraising. Their motto — “Fun and Friendship, Melody and Mirth” — sums them up perfectly.
Hornsea Shanty Lasses are an all‑female shanty crew from Hornsea, East Yorkshire, known for lively harmonies, traditional maritime songs, and regular appearances on the Yorkshire shanty‑festival circuit. They’re one of the more active small crews in the region, performing frequently at community events, carnivals, and major shanty gatherings.
The Frampton Shantymen are a well‑established a cappella sea‑shanty crew from Frampton, Gloucestershire, known for big harmonies, humour, and strong charity fundraising. They’re one of the most active inland shanty groups in the UK, performing widely at festivals, pubs, fetes, and community events. Formed in 2012.
