The Weston-Super-Mare annual Sea Shanty Festival takes place in a variety of bars and venues on 1st -3rd August 2025. Entry to all venues is free. Any donations will be for the RNLI and the Lions club.

Falmouth hosts a UK premier annual 3-day shanty festival from 14th-16th June. Over 80 Shanty groups will be performing

Harwich

Port Isaac

Harwich hosts its annual premier Shanty festival on the 10th-12th of October, with an extensive list of excellent Sea Shanty performances.

Taking place April 18th -20th 2025, It is expected to be over 30 Shanty crews performing, and all will be free to attend. The festival has raised thousands for various charities

Brancaster Staithe Sea Shanty Festival

Popularity has grown enormously in Brancaster in recent years, due to the local crew "Nelson's Shantymen". The 2025 festival is the 3rd year for Brancaster. Admission to all events was free; any donations will be given to various charities. Nelson's Shantymen rehearse most Monday evenings at the Jolly Sailors Pub.

Cockwood

Cockwood Sea Shanty is scheduled to take place on 22nd-23rd March. Cockwood Shanty Facebook page.

Newport Shanty & Folk

Pirates in the Port is the theme of the Newport Shanty Festival scheduled for 31st May -1st June. The performers include the Ships and Giggles Shanty Group.
