Our Shanty crew

Hi Bobby here, I didn’t join the shanty crew, I fell into it. Literally, I tripped over a crab pot, rolled down the quay, bounced off a lobster pot, and landed in the middle of the crew’s rehearsal like a human cannonball. When I stood up, seaweed on my head and a mandolin in hand, somehow still in tune, Staithe said: “Well… he’s one of us now.” My talents are: playing the mandolin with enthusiasm that everyone enjoys. Laughing so hard, forgetting I'm supposed to be singing

Despite all this chaos, the crew keeps me around because I'm cheerful, enthusiastic, and sometimes bring some snacks. Some say I could be the future of shanty music here in Norfolk.
